How do people get over spending more on their house than they'll get back out of it? Plz help.

you put in the money to make it a better place for *you*, not the person who will eventually buy it from you
Call it the forever home and move forward, lol!
Think of it like a car. The enjoyment and process is worth the money you'll never get out of it.
Live in it for a long time. That's all you can do.
Cry and file the loss on taxes.
If you find out, let me know
well...you can't take it with you when you die so...wtf
Because you would be paying more on rent if you plan to live somewhere more than a few years...
You need to look up comparables square footage wise in your neighborhood
Grin and bear it and enjoy!
It's your home. You want to live in a place you enjoy, so you just do that and don't worry about the resale value because you plan on living there for a good while. Just change your mind-set.
Because you love it and it makes you happy to live in a beautiful home with things just the way you want them 😃
There is no help. But, if you wait long enough, you will get your money back and more. This is coming from a old person owning 3 different houses, grasshopper...
Derek Brooks Venmo all your money to me that way you won't have anything to spend! Problem solved.. hehe..
Because your spending dollars on creating the environment that will support you through all of life's ups and downs??
Maybe you're like your dad. I definitely did it in LeClaire! But it was fun and ended up awesome!
This is why I'll probably never live in a house bigger than 1,200 square feet. I'd rather have land, a garden, and woods than a big house to take care of. I truly enjoy a house that takes only an hour to clean. 😂
It is impossible. Budget!?!?? We blew by that 3 months before our cabin was done.
Adulting.....pure suckage
¯_(ツ)_/¯ just make enough 💰 that the house becomes a rounding error
