Friends, Lisa's Wedding, etc

OK, so this weekend was nice, busy, fun, expensive, awesome, etc.

Friday, Tara came into town to attend Lisa's wedding with us. We stopped over to Vicki's house to hang out with my cousins - who were in town for Vicki's hip hop recital, haha. I so wish I could have gone. Later, we had some people over, grilled out, hung out, etc. It was nice. Afterwards some of us went to Cedric's party and then met up with Rich and Sean downtown (who were in town for Paul Wall). Cedric's place is really quite awesome. I had my doubts about it matching his last place, but it is pretty cool - definitely nicer for sleeping and general living, ha.

Saturday we had to wake up and go get some Mac n Chicken with Rich. Then Tara, Kari, and I headed out to Nebraska for the wedding. The reception was in Nebraska City at this place called Lied Lodge. This town is CRAZY insane about trees and arbor day, haha. They are like, "TREES!" all the time, it's nuts... super nice hotel though.

The wedding was really nice, it was super short - no message, just marriage. However, during the vows Lisa took Eric as her wife, haha. I love wedding slip-ups. They are always so awesome.

The reception was also fun. There were about 8 Cornellians at 1 table - so we had to live up to our rep. Yeah, we were definitely the loud crazy college friends with 32 drinks on the table. We danced, hung out, took pics, etc. However, for some reason they skipped our table for the champagne toast - sad. Afterwards we managed to get into the closed pool and swam - naked, of course. And later a few of us ran around outside during some crazy monsoon storm. It was really nice to see everyone, I had fun. It's always cool when you can hang out with people that you haven't seen in forever and then just pick up like you saw them last week.

On the drive home we drove past the road course that Nehru happened to be at, ha. So we stopped by, I rode around the track with him for a few laps - it was awesome. It makes me want that FREAKING ECLIPSE so much more. omg.

Anyway, yeah. We hung out w/ Tia and her bf last night, and now it's back to work. :(
So much to do. Pics.

Thanks for stopping by it was fun showing you the "line." I hope you drive next year. You have 365 days to get a car ready. Those pictures at the track are great...they blow away all that Karisa took...damnit

Hey! Derek thanks for putting up the pics. I was so sad I missed the celebration but the airline tickets were out of control and I just started a new job in Feb! Instead I saw a drag show and the beefiest belly dancers ever! You put on a drag show too didn't you? But it looks like you all had a lot of fun. Hope all is well:)
