House, money, skating, business, success, happiness

Man... Due to this lame cold weather I've been getting really bored which has caused me to do a ton of thinking lately (and way too many updates on this site).

Watching Jason move into a 4 bedroom brick house in a nice neighborhood is really starting to take a toll on me. I have no freedom in this apartment. The lame brass door handles, and dining room light are really bothering me. I can't put my miniramp up, I can't really do anything. So I think it's time to move into a dope crib.

Ah crap... Money. I think that I make a pretty respectable salary, but I just don't think I can afford what I want in a house. So why not move into a townhouse for now... Hmmm, that would be really nice... no lawn mowing, no plowing, no shoveling, a little more freedom. But still, no where to skate. Townhouses out here just don't come with basements and I doubt that they would appreciate me putting a ramp in the tiny back yard that they give me. I am young. I want to skate now... not in 7 years when I can afford the house I want and start losing the ability to skate.

Therefore I need another means of income. I really hope that Nick and I's web business does well. We both have mad skills and there are plenty of great companies in the area that we could help. I really want to use my video skills somewhere too. I feel like I have talent in that area but I'm not using it like I could be... that makes me really sad.

One thing I'm pretty sure of is that I'm going to go back to work for Vector Marketing on the side... that was a fun job. KNIVES.

Maybe I should take out a loan and open a skatepark... Then I could skate all I wanted and maybe even make money doing it. That'd be a weird investment... I wonder what the success rate is on that.

I am just not really happy with things right now... I really think that I should be doing better for myself. I'm definitely not living to my fullest potential... Some doors need to open up here.
This sounds all to familier...

Get a loan, open a skatepark, video all the kids, then sell them the videos.

Dude, the average house costs between three and four times more over here than it does in the States. And stop dropping money on your car and going out all the time... then you can buy a house and skate

I know that story.. do I live for right now, buy some cool stuff, and have fun, or do I have really nice stuff after either saving or working my ass off? Good luck on figuring out what's important.

Maybe you should give your money away and see how happy you are without it.

dude. you can have my basement. I'll rent it to you and you can do what ever you want to with it (even build a crazy ass skate park and paint it green)

hmm, yeah... maybe i should give it all away. i bet i'd be happy when big companies come after me cause i'm not paying bills/rent, and when i'm homeless, and can't afford to eat.

You should probably do a google search on Vector and Cutco. You'll find tons of information on why Vector is a scam and Cutco is a ripoff from chef and other expert opinions to articles and lawsuits against the company.
