I Do Not Live in an Apartment

Well, I moved into my house.

Friday I took off work at noon to start moving, then my parents showed up around 8ish to help out for the weekend. We moved a lot of stuff. It was lame. I'm so tired and sore. Plus I had to buy a washer and lawn mower, and pay mortgage and rent. I am broke. Then we had to run a gas line to my dryer because my house is setup for an electric one... BUT my dryer is setup for LP and I have natural gas... So then I had to order some parts and change those out sometime this week. Working with gas sorta makes me nervous. On top of that, I have a LOT of unpacking to do... :(

Saturday night kari's family met up with us (and gave me some pretty nice house warming gifts). We went to my aunt's house for an awesome dinner and then to Foxboro for this karaoke contest. My uncle won it, haha - It was awesome. $500 prize too.

So yeah, being in a house is pretty awesome. It's weird that I don't have to walk 200 yards to get to my garage or storage unit. And I don't ever have to put quarters into another load of laundry. And I have so much room to do whatever I want. I mean going from 720 sqft to 2000 sqft is pretty freakin cool. I can't wait to have parties... However I really need to get more things done first. I.E. I really have nowhere for people to sit in the basement. I have no spare beds for people to crash on. I have no TV stand anymore. I need a cooler TV to occupy said TV stand. I have gold door handles (lame). Plus I need a workbench, pool table, bar, pinball machine, foosball table, poker table, a whole house stereo, a bigger deck, some more furniture, things to hang on my walls, and some nicer light/fan fixtures. And I really really need internet.. and wireless.

That said, yall can come over in about 5 years or so and my house will be both accomodating and sweet.
yeah... i only have about 4 years until people can come to my house!!
