Rapping and Skating A Dong
Friday, Rich, and a kid from my H.S., Shawn Rankin, drove up for the Eightball and MJG concert. I wasn't going to go, because I've only heard a few of their songs... but by the time they got to my house I decided to go. Before the show, we all ate at Okoboji, where we saved some little kid from having a steak knife driven through his head.
The show was at Val Air and was pretty awesome. Eightball is a big big dude and MJG has some pretty big dreads. It was a short set (only like 6 songs) but it was a lot of fun - had some drinks, heard good music, saw lots of booty dancing, etc. Shawn got busted peeing in the bush by a cop outside when we were leaving, haha. "Hey! What are you doing?! Do you not see me standing over here?" "aww I was just gonna pee in this bush, but then I saw you coming so I decided not to." "good choice, go home." haha, rule. After the show, Chuck and Nathan came out. We decided to skate til 3 or so. We fell a LOT. We made pizza, hung out, went to bed around 4:30. Good times.
Saturday Kari and I woke up and went to our last marriage counseling session. Now the pastor will finally marry us, w00t. Then we all skated more, went to Rock Bottom, and everyone took off. Later Nick and Nicole came over. We went to A Dong, The Lift, etc. And Sunday I had a nice day of shopping at Home Depot, Menards, and trying to fix my God forsaken server. Seriously. I was just making fun of Cedric for his safe_mode problems, and now I get them. All of my php.ini files say safe_mode = Off. But somehow safe_mode is not that turned off. So, that's why there are no pictures for the weekend. Maybe someday I'll have pictures again. I hate servers.
