Wow. People can be real dicks on kickstarter... For some reason I guess I expected backers of micro-ventures to be tolerant and encouraging.

What's the link to your venture?
Some projects deserve it, though. I'm waiting on a watch from this watchmaker after two years and he says he's still tweaking the design and that it's the worth the wait because he's "improving it".
Kevin, I don't have a kickstarter project... just noticing terrible comments on things I've backed.
Alexander, yikes. That is a bit ridiculous... However, I'm watching folks blow up on new companies via public comments when it's not justified. For example, one company is still working on certification in certain countries and cannot yet legally ship there, and dudes are just blowing up about it. The same company is trying to get their Android app launched, missed their targeted launch date and other dudes are flipping out... even though the company has offered beta access to anyone who wants it.

Kickstarter is a great way to encourage entrepreneurship. However it saddens me to watch shitty users abuse and discourage these new companies publicly.
Ah, yeah, that is uncalled for. I think these are the growing pains in shifting to a more crowdsourced / sharing-type economy that seems to keep emerging.
