Christmas break, so far

Well, I've been off work for about a week now, which has been awesome.

I went home to Illinois straight from work on Tuesday and met my dad and sister at Old Chicago for pizza, which was actually really good. Then hung out with Rich for the rest of the day.

On Christmas day, we woke up and opened presents. I got all kinds of good clothes, a toyota supra xmod (and stage 2 engines, metal bearrings, and body kits), some DVDs, and various other gifts. Later that day we went to Snowstar, a ski resort that some relatives of ours own. They close the resort for the family Christmas party and all the skiing, sledding, and snowboarding that we want to do. I ended up riding snowskates with my little cousin Erich most of the time. I hit a 50-50 accross this 4x4 and then did a pop shove-it off... it was dope. Then I bombed a few hills on my snowboard and we called it a day. Later that night I met Rich so that we could go race RC cars at the Laas Company, which is always fun.

On Friday I visited a few friends. Sam let me drive his BMW 330 (the next fastest sedan to the M series). I want one soooo bad now. Doing 110 was like doing 65 in a normal car. Later Zach, Amy, and Jake came over and hung out for a bit. Zach showed me his Jamie Thomas deck that Amy got him (very good present).

On Saturday I worked on my car with my dad. Then I went to see Jeff who was in his basement playing video games and barely awake at 1... just like Jeff always does. Later Kari came over and we all exchanged gifts. She got me this super nice digital picture frame, which I've been trying to get a hold of for quite a while now. Then we hung out, ate Riverbend Pizza, and watched the extended version of Two Towers. After that we watched Monster Garage, and my mom got really mad at Jesse James for some reason...

On monday I had a dentist Appointment (22 and no cavities, w00t) and then Kari and I drove back here to Cedar Rapids so that her mom could fix us a good dinner and then go to see Return of the King.

I wrote a lot of pointless stuff. Soooo. Go to Kevin's website! After a couple months of telling him to finish it he finally got it done!

Yeah, I finally got it done. I still have more to do on it, but at least it's up and running. kevinswitzer.com
