Cornell, SolidGrind, and Stuff
Man, Man. I'm having some fun lately. Awesomeness is awesome.
So last week I was sick... which I suppose was not awesome at all. In fact it was really lame. However, I got better in time for the weekend and went to visit some friends in Mount Vernon. We ran around, partied, ran around, etc. At one point we met up with some peeps at Cedar River Brewing in CR. While there I talked everyone into going to club Element, haha. It's a dance club in this old gym in CEDAR RAPIDS. It was sort of funny, but definitely fun. The best (worst) part was when I was dancing with drea and she straight up kicked me off the dance floor. wtf? am I that bad? that white? I bet it's this freakin beard. Once I shave I'm trying again. Don't get served.
So yeah, MV = fun as always. I love partying with new people and I even moreso, I love partying with people that I've known forever and never partied with, ha. I love people.
Also, I got SolidGrind.com done. I redid it again... it's been extreme sports for so long but it's really about Soap Shoes. So I took it back to a dedicated Soap/Heelys site. I'm excited. It probably won't get much traffic cause Soaping isn't as popular as it once was... but I'm happy with it. Hopefully it'll be THE Soap resource on the net. THE NET.
Things are good at work right now. Weird, but good. I've got a new boss and a new position. I'm now a developer in Lab Automation Systems. Which basically means I write software for the automated things in labs. It sounds like it will be pretty cool. Maybe I'll program robots. A really good part is that I'm programming new stuff again. <3 new stuff. BUT the best part about it is that I didn't have to move cubicles. In fact my new dept moved over by me, haha. So I still get to sit by all my peeps. I love you guys <3.
Ummm yeah, I'm happy/hyper. I love this mood. DON'T RUIN IT.
Oh yeah, Luke is opening for Ghostface Killa this weekend, haha. It's gonna be awesome. I'm pretty pumped for that show. Plus. mustache party, my house, next friday (march 17). Super pumped for that one. Harper and I have some neat ideas, hopefully we will finally play ball. We talk alot but never play.
