do you have air display app for your iPad?

I'm upgrading the MB pro this weekend. 8gb of RAM and 500gb HD. How hard is the restore?

I actually connected my new HD externally, cloned my internal HD to it using Carbon Copy Cloner, made sure it booted, then installed.

ah. I was planning on using a time machine backup.

I haven't used air display. Looks pretty rad, but I already have 3 displays... not sure I need a fourth, ha.
