same here! still the only ding on my credit report

Comcast did the same to me when I lived in Chicago.

i ran into a similar thing with Comcast and ended up with free HBO for life (so far) + free DVR (until they forced me to upgrade)

look for "executive customer service" hidden on their site or contact info for a C-level exec and keep emailing til you get a bite

If they knew a good computer guy they might have a system that would avoid that crap! fyi - Century Link could use one too! Anyone you could recommend?

AT&T did similar to me. I sent mine back and they said I never did. I sent them a copy of the receipt. They sent me to collections. I would send a copy of receipt to collection agency. They would tell AT&T and then I would have another collection agency call a month later. This went on for a year until I finally gave them money to leave me alone. This is why I will NEVER use AT&T again in my life.

They're the worst.

Seriously? It's a called sunk cost...they are trying to collect on a $40 piece of crap machinery?? 😠

Are they reporting to a credit bureau? I'd worry about my rating.
