3 3ast 3 3urious
I usually don't write about movies and stuff, but this caught me off guard and not too many people know about it so here it is...
I was reading Modified Magazine yesterday, and apparently there's going to be a Fast and Furious 3. And apparently they have a bigger budget than the first 2... but they're trying not to pick any big actors for it. Which, pretty much shows that FnF is obviously more interested in cars than acting - as most of its viewers are. There is a lot of speculation that Vin Diesel may be back in it... The 2nd movie picked up where Paul Walker left off, the third is supposed to pick up where Vin Diesel left off...
"After being allowed to get away by his new undercover cop friend in the first movie, fast-driving criminal Dominic Torretto (Diesel) heads down to Mexico where he lives a life as a fugitive, always just 10 seconds ahead of the law. Eventually, however, Torretto makes his way to Tokyo, Japan, which is the world's current capitol of street racing, where he is recruited to help bail out a friend who is in trouble with a powerful group of Japanese gangsters."
The third FnF is going to focus a lot more on drifting, which is pretty cool because drifting has prety much been untouched by anything else. So we should see a huge gain in drifting popularity, heh. Universal has been recruiting drivers from the drifter.com forums and has been in Japan on tracks learning all about drifting.
One of the main cars in this one is going to be a 350z, along with a 67 mustang.
It may be terrible. But I like cars, so I'm excited. Here's a trailer.
