Kill Hannah AND H.I.M.

Kill Hannah and HIM are touring together, which rules so much. I want to go to one the shows soooo bad. Kari and I can get plane tickets pretty easily, so we were even considering flying to NY, LA, or even Philadelphia to see them together.

But every stop on the tour is on a bad date. I'm either doing demos, working, or going to weddings. The closest that they're going to be is Chicago... which is still a 5 hour drive. It's on a Sunday night... the same Sunday that I have a Soap shoe demo in Iowa City. I also have only 1 more vacation day.

Stupid stupid Iowa. Why can't Des Moines be bigger.... or even Omaha, or Minneapolis.

Well it DID get you to laugh (in a weird, off the wall type of way...). You just think it's weird because you've never been called by a siren before and aren't used to it..

On a more serious note, I have been in Iowa a few times (brother lives there) and I find the people are EXCEPTIONALLY nice, and the quality of life is pretty high. As always, there are pros and cons about everythings.

The last time I was there was a weekend in Feb 2001 with no car or means of transportation. The time prior to that, (aug 2000) I was extremely busy helping move my little bro in and our day off was already scheduled.

However, if I'm ever in Iowa again, I will defeinitely give you a call. Until then, you're welcome to continue calling me a punk =)
