Rebel's Advocate Video Shoot
Man, things have been crazy as usual. Last week Harper stopped by on his road trip to Colorado. We hung out a bit, Ninja got loose, and we rode the pocket bike, then he kept driving.
The plan for the weekend was to shoot a music video for a hip hop group called Rebels Advocate. So, Friday after work, we caravaned 3 car loads of people to Maywood, which is a ghetto westside suburb of Chicago. We got into town around 12:30, got to bed around 2:30, then had to wake up at 6:30 to start working on the video. It was a good time - everyone I met was really cool. A lot of people showed up, it was pretty much everyone's first video shoot, and the weather was pretty sketchy - so it made for a lot of work... but 12 hours later the video was shot. Hopefully editing goes well.
After the shoot I drove to Harper's, napped, then we met Tag out for dinner at Sushi Wabi - excellent excellent meal. So I owe Harper a good dinner. Afterward we headed up to Club Buzz for the VOX party. Buzz was kinda funny. It was almost like throwing a bunch of Iowans into a dance club. I mean, everyone was dancing and having a good time, but there weren't as many hot people as other Chicago clubs. We easily solved this by running around to Soundbar and Ybar. And VIP bottle service at every bar we went to was Awesome. The night was complete craziness again. Harper and I got in vodka fights and punched nuts. We were all obnoxious in VIP, haha, fun fun. All of my friends that were supposed to come out ditched me. But whatever, it was a ton of fun and I got to see reverend lasagna.
So I went to bed at 5, woke up at 11, then we goofed around and slowly made our way back home. Somehow we made it like an 8 hour drive when it should have been like 5, haha.
