Ahhh, home. When I'm home, things get done.

So yeah, Friday was Rico's last day at Pioneer, which was a little weird, but was also quite nice. I really don't know many people that have the balls to up and quit a job after over 20 years of service. I'm pretty excited about it. I think it's going to rule for him.

After work he had a little "thanks for putting up with me" party, which was a good time: good beer, cigars, scotch, and big fires. We also played "wear derek's hat" for a bit.

Saturday was really nice, I got a lot done - mostly paperwork, money work, and office organizing. not cleaning, organizing... I really suck at actually cleaning my office for some reason. So I was doing my usual bill paying, when I noticed …

Whoops, I forgot again. This weekend was pretty decent. Friday we went to Rico's holiday party, then Nathan, Zach, and I went out to Aura. It was a good time. We cracked open the homebrews at Rico's. They were really good again. Someone said they were the best batch so far; they were dark belgian ales - really stout.

Saturday we were supposed to go to Mount Vernon, but Kari was sick. Plus, I woke up at noon to make some eggs and toast, then I went back to bed until 5pm, haha. Seriously, I slept through the entire day - I woke up and it was dark again. So we went out to dinner with cedric at pho777. Omg, this weekend was totally crazy - I loved it. I wonder how long I would live if all my friends lived closeby...

Anyway, Friday, Rich, Sean, Jeff, and Josh came into town for my bachelor party. We all headed up to Rico's to grill out, etc. They made an awesome meal for all 16 of us (it was a great base for the night we had - it definitely worked). We played monster golf, bocce, poker, etc. The rest of the night was absolutely crazy, here it is in list format... The bus picked us up, we went to the Cab, Lift, Royal Mile, Red Monk, Aura, Third Base, Cabaret, etc.
