Thanks, I Think.

Thanksgiving. Ahhh Thanksgiving.

I don't really have a whole lot of thankfulness right now. I mostly just have lots of busy-ness (business?) in preparation for the thankfulness. So I am just treating this last weekend as another holiday.

This year:
Followed the same format as last year.
Painted the guest room with my dad.
Built shelves in my shed.
Ate bad.

I feel like I need some mass change sometime soon - good changes for once. Lately the changes have not been for that.

What my family decided to do was say fuck thanksgiving. We just hang out. Think of something interesting to do together that is different from year to year. This was we don't have to worry about traditions, feelings and what not. We just get to hang out. Blow shit up. and now we just hang out. and have fun.

It took awhile and how we started was just not have thanksgiving on thanksgiving. We would have it on the following or preceding weekend. We never had it on actual thanksgiving. This allowed us to not have to fullfill the thanksgiving tradition. then on thrusday we could go skiing, or travel or what have you. I often choose to volunteer at a place in chicgao and go get crunked up at a club.

but yea. change that is good is much better than change that is bad.
