Buca, Servers, Ryan Dunn's Show
Some things are going on. Kari's parents stopped out Friday night before their flight to Phoenix in the morning. We had a good time, went to Buca di Beppo, ate in the kitchen, had too many limoncellos. Her family loves food like no other. It's insane
Saturday I got a lot done, sometimes it rules to actually stay home on weekends. Wait no. I want to tour the world! Nick and Nicole came over later, we ate those Harry Potter Jelly Belly's - flavors like soap, sardines, spaghetti, dirt, earthworm, booger, ear wax, and vomit. I totally expected vomit to be the worst, but it was definitely earthworm. gross.
Transferring all my websites to my (kari's dad's) server is really annoying. It seriously takes forever. Create a new site on the server, upload all the files (over slow slow cable), setup a DB for each site, test, point the IPs there. Annoying. Once I get done I'll be less poor... and harper will be more poor, haha, PUNK. I mean, thanks.
This wednesday is Ryan Dunn's rock tour at Val Air Ballroom with Disengage and Alter Boys. The bands are pretty decent, not my favorite, nothing too hardcore, but I think I'm gonna check it out. All the radio stations around here are advertising, "RYAN DUNN AND THE CAST OF VIVA LA BAM ARE AT VAL AIR!" Most don't even mention the bands playing, and I really doubt that anyone will be there except for Dunn. maybe Rake, or Raab, or Di'Camillo. Probably not Bam, or not anyone. Who knows. Speaking of Viva La Bam, Kevi dropped off the first season on DVD, it wasn't that good. I miss cky videos, and Bam skating. He's a great shred/thrash skater.
Anyway, back to the point. We had this big idea and it might totally work if I had a few hundred bucks to throw around. Ok, so the radios and everything are making this show sound like a Viva La Bam video shoot, right? If I shave my goatee into a U design again, wear sun glasses or a hat, and get a limo. I'm pretty sure we could pull up to Val Air and mess with the MTV heads and kiddie skaters. What if I could find Dunn earlier that day and get him in on it, haha. If Bam is actually with them, they may be at a skatepark that day? Probably the Urbandale one - the only good one. Anyway yeah, it would be fun. Maybe I'll do it anyway but without the limo.
