Just begin to understand that NO ONE will ever know where Iowa is. I met ONE person the entire year who knew where Iowa was, and he was from Spain and enjoyed politics. People only know about New York, Florida, and California....all other states just meld into one giant state of unknown.

I like the city vs. state comparison. Boston, understandable...a lot of irish there. California? Well, maybe because we are so FLY!!!!

whenever someone asks that's not from the US, i just say that I live "near chicago" haha.
