Just attempted to use one of those @RideDart tokens, but they're not good for a full fare. A ride costs 1 token + 1 quarter... haha, what?

Sorry, @broox! Tokens are worth $1.75, a full fare on DART Local Routes. Express Routes would cost $2, a token plus a quarter.

apparently a token is good for the $1.75 local fare… but you've gotta fork up that extra quarter if you wanna ride the $2.00 express route.

And this is why people don't ride the bus

This part is being fixed after getting a pretty hefty grant to implement a smart card system.
