Yea, but it's always listening and you don't have to touch/unlock a phone to use it.

Maybe, but the chances of me having my phone near me are 87.3% better than always being in the same room as echo.

Basically, apple and google need to make a sonos-like device with google now or siri integrated.

the voice reco on the fire tv does work a bit better than any other voice reco I have for entertainment laying around. Or at least I think so, I haven't gathered the nerve to say 'Xbox, Bing...' anything

But I do have about eight sonos boxes around my house in all the key rooms, so if it did listen and respond a la echo, that would be nice.

I want to get two echos to just have a conversation with each other.

get married. lots of conversations happen without you being even in the same room.
