The fact that I can throw a Pink Floyd album onto my turntable and have it stream through my entire house makes sonos 100% worth it.

I'm struggling with how I want setup to work at new house, I feel sonos might be purchased...

how have you got this set up? Any turntable recommendations? Which sonos gear are you connected up to?

technics 1200 into a sonos connect hooked to my loft stereo with another connect in my theater and play:1s and 3s scattered around

specifically on the connection, I have my turntable going through a TC-750 preamp into the sonos connect and out to my stereo amp.

sounds awesome! Am trying to avoid the need for a pre amp but only to save cash, would a pre amp be better than turntable with one?

not sure. I've never done the research on that... But the TC-750 is a super solid, inexpensive and well respected pre-amp.
