what does this mean?

A connect:amp with multiple speaker outputs so that you can connect multiple in-wall/ceiling speakers to it and set them up as individual zones... i.e. A Sonos powered whole house sound system receiver.

Just use a speaker selector or similar splitter to split a connect:amp out into multiple channels. 8 Ohm circuit protection will split your amp signal just fine across multiple rooms.
