I know you are into wireless speakers but I would suggest speaker wire to wherever you might want speakers. Just leave buried in wall/ceiling and mark on plans where they are so you can dig out someday.

Joe just remodeled our bathroom and his plan was to use pex. After lots of research we ended up deciding against it because it does leach chemicals into the water. I know California is a "green" state and they have banned the use of pex in residential homes because of the chemical leaching.
