did you try hard resetting? my 6S will go black and not respond to anything every week or two. Just gotta hold power and home for a while

Yea. Hard reset fixed it. I'd forgotten how to hard reset an iPhone for a minute... But the exact same thing happened to me. Black screen. No response.
