This. Also- a restaurant.. I used to go to the hy-vee deli for a meal because I want fast, cheap, decent food that I don't have a 20% tax on the price to properly pay THEIR staff. Now, the've abolished that and I don't eat there anymore. I tip decently, but would much rather restaurants raise their rates and eliminate the tipping culture that has become obscene.

^ what ? I like their restaurant concept the food is decent and prices are fair . You can still go to the deli and it's just as fast / costs the same . You don't have to tip for that. Their staff only expects a tip if you order off a menu. They pay them a higher hourly wage than the federal tipped minimum wage. I agree places should raise wages but getting rid of tipping would not go over well with servers .
