Support: That wasn't smart. Have you tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in?

My last Mom tech support call involved setting up a new Apple TV... She didn't remember her wifi password, so we decided to just reset it. I went to find her router, and she had TWO Centurylink modems/wifi routers plugged into two different phone jacks! How the hell did that happen?
