PSA: you can put tater tots in a cast iron skillet and cook them on a charcoal grill and they are awesome.

I’ll have to try this over open flame. Just a skillet or Dutch oven?

If you blow cigarette smoke on them it brings out a REALLLLLLL smokey flavor fyi.

Also in a waffle iron with cheese and bacon. Garnish with sour cream and green onion.
