the g1 was given to me by a buddy who has some sort of crazy google hookups and had a few laying around.
the iphone was given to me by another friend who upgraded.
i won the nexus one in a little programming contest put on by that same friend with the google hookups. whoever wrote the best android app won a free phone. luckily for me, no one really wrote any solid apps, so winning the contest was pretty simple. ;)
