Right. But I've never been paranoid enough to toggle a subset of permissions the app is asking for. I just accept em all or none.
For Android 4.3 and above, you can download a permissions manager like play.google.com...life.permission to modify permissions on a per-app basis.
Android explicitly tells you every permission needed to run the app. If you don't like the permissions, don't run it. I couldn't imagine coding an app where every instance of it running would have different permissions, what a nightmare.
