While in Portugal, we rented a mini to road trip down to Algarve for a few days. The southern coast was very busy with tourists, but we did our best to escape them. The car, drive, food, and sites were incredible.

  • The beach at Portimão is huge. and pretty.
  • Rocks at Praia da Rocha
  • Rocks at Praia da Rocha
  • Spiced, stuffed squid time
  • These stuffed squids are so good
  • Eating seafood out of cans
  • Amateur sardine time
  • Praia da Rocha
  • The stork nests in Portugal are giant and super cool. Maybe nuisances? But still super cool.
  • They had Tanqueray on the menu so we asked for it, as a martini with olives... they did not get the memo. Gin on ice, a bowl of olives with pits, and bottles of tonic.
  • Enjoying here "martini"
  • Pasta sounded good and this place delivered (except for the martini part)
  • Gelato for dessert
  • Street signs (and street names even) are rare in Portugal... but when they exist, they're often nice.

  • Having a great time with this hair and this convertible
  • This bridge is wild
  • Vasco da Gama Bridge
  • Drove across that bridge earlier
  • The beef option turned out to be another Francesinha, lol. Kind of awesome.
