Got our ceiling redone- was supposed to be just one 3x5 patch fix-- they completely redid our entire ceiling and over sprayed onto our walls about 3 inches throughout. Now we get to pay for what we didn't order & paint our room, which was not expected. 😫

And I'm my experience painters don't give a shit about your floors or tile. Giving a shit seems to be tough for contractors.

I feel like this list doesn't end there...

But if you do your own tile, you will berate yourself for months about picking the wrong color grout and about a few places where you could have done a better job until your wife tells you to get over yourself and move on. Right, Jonathon Smithson? It's a no-win either way.

there was a time where certain crafts took pride in their work and integrity in their dealings...that has flown far out the windows. No one gives a flying fuck anymore.

This was supposed to be a light hearted comment at this point in my remodel. These tile guys are the coolest crew I've had in my house and have already said they'd fix any paint/drywall scuffs.
