Did you use an upward-pointing flash for these or that LED lamp I saw earlier?

50mm lens is the best bang for the buck, IMO. Speedlites are nice, but also kind of a pain to carry around.

@broox @iandees definitely - 50 1.4 is cheap and amazing. I carry that permanently on my 5dII unless going on vacation or shooting weddings
