I just moved derek.broox.com from Digital Ocean to Render and it is now twice as fast.

I’m really interested in Render, how was the dev experience?

All I did was move an SSR Nuxt app there and it was a breeze.

Also, deployments are so easy and nice with no downtime and no ops. Definitely worth deploying something to their free plan just to check it out.

WorkHound is all Heroku just cuz I love it, Render looks like an interesting evolution.
