The Ozark National forest is beautiful.

I hate to say it, but Missouri and Arkansas both seem to have quite a bit more to offer than Iowa.

Turned my 2-door Wrangler into a 1-person camper to do some off-roading and dispersed camping in the Ozark National Forest this weekend.

Sometimes you get the opportunity to meet an incredible local family and watch them grow. You may not be close, but you see them at the good events and recognize that they’re beautiful people.

Iowa used to be a leader in education and civil rights… but we’ll take runner up in women’s ncaa basketball. It’s somethin.

I am not a basketball fan, but that Iowa women’s final four game was absolutely fantastic. Holy cow.

Beating an undefeated team like that must feel incredible.
